Dedicated Teams
A managed team of senior engineers that builds and runs your product as one unit.
One Product, One Team
A product needs engineering, design, testing and delivery to move as one team. Split across suppliers, every handover costs time and context.
A dedicated team gives you one team with one lead, staffed for the disciplines the roadmap needs and run by XSIS.
What You Get
You get a team you can plan around, and evidence that the work is done to your standard.
A Staffed Team and a Role Map
Named engineers, designers and testers, with the lead and each responsibility written down.
A Planned Backlog With Estimates
The first quarter of work broken into stories, each estimated and ordered by your product owner.
Working Software Every Two Weeks
A tested increment on staging at the end of each sprint, accepted or returned by your product owner.
Test and Quality Evidence
Automated test results, code review records and a monthly quality report your team can read.
How the Team Runs
The team starts in five stages. You approve the plan, the priorities and any change in its shape.
Mobilise the Team
We agree the roles, set up access and tools, and write the team charter. You meet the people. End: a staffed team and an agreed way of working.
Plan the First Quarter
Your product owner and our lead turn the roadmap into an ordered backlog. You approve the first three months. End: an estimated backlog and a release plan.
Deliver in Sprints
The team builds, reviews and tests in two-week sprints. Your product owner accepts each increment. End: a working demonstration and a test report.
Review the Team and the Product
Each month we review delivery, quality and the shape of the team with you. You decide whether to add, release or change roles. End: a written review and the next quarter's plan.
Hand Over When You Choose
When your own team takes over, we transfer the backlog, the runbooks and the knowledge. End: a handover record and a supported transition.
Where a Dedicated Team Fits
A dedicated team suits work that needs a stable team and a continuous release rhythm.
A Long Roadmap
A product or platform that will change as you learn.
A Team That Must Scale
Several workstreams at once, or a release rhythm that needs more than one discipline.
One Accountable Team
You want a team run by XSIS and directed by your product owner.
Knowledge That Stays
A team that stays long enough to know the product and its history.
What We Need From You
The team depends on three things from your side.
A Product Owner
One person who sets priorities and accepts each increment.
Access to Your Tools and Systems
Repositories, environments, test data and the accounts the team needs.
A Monthly Decision
A named sponsor who can approve the next quarter's plan and any change in team shape.
Where Dedicated Teams Fail
Three risks are common. Each has a control in the way the team runs.
Priorities That Change Every Week
The backlog is ordered by your product owner. We show the effect of a change on the sprint and the release plan before it is accepted.
Knowledge in One Person
We pair on critical work and record decisions in the repository, so no feature depends on one engineer.
A Team That Grows Too Fast
We add roles in planned steps, with onboarding and a named mentor, and review the effect on delivery.
What Good Looks Like
You can check these signals in your own tools and meetings.
Your Product Owner Accepts the Increment
The demonstration meets the sprint goal and the acceptance criteria before it counts as done.
The Test Suite Passes on Every Merge
A failed test blocks the merge, and the result is visible in your own pipeline.
The Backlog Is Estimated and Ordered
The next quarter has estimates and a clear order, and your product owner has approved it.
The Knowledge Is Written Down
Decisions, runbooks and open risks live in your repository, not only in the team's heads.
Questions and Answers
What is a dedicated team?
A managed, cross-functional team of senior engineers, designers and testers, run by XSIS and directed by your product owner.

XSIS runs the team day to day through one lead. Your product owner sets priorities and accepts the work. Line management stays with XSIS.
How does a dedicated team start?
With the free 30-minute online pre-consulting session and the free 48-hour Readiness Review. If the fit is right, we propose the roles, the plan and the governance, and name the people before you sign.
How is the cost set?
Usually as a monthly cost for the agreed roles, so you can plan the budget. The proposal names each role, its seniority and any cover outside normal hours.
Start With a Conversation, Not a Contract.
Tell us what you need to build, connect or secure. An architect goes through it with you, then recommends where to start.
What Happens Next
Agreeing a Time
Our team emails you to agree a time for the session.
Pre-Consulting Session
A free 30-minute online pre-consulting session: we go through your goals, systems and constraints.
Readiness Review
In a free 48-hour Readiness Review, a Principal Architect checks your project against What we need before we start and recommends the track that fits.
Choosing the Track
Scope-ready projects receive a binding proposal within 3 to 5 business days. Concept-stage projects start with Discovery and Design. A live system that is failing, undocumented or needs integration starts with the Live System Review of 1 to 2 weeks. Discovery and Design and the Live System Review each have a fixed fee, quoted in the proposal.
