Software Engineering
Mission-critical core platforms, composable applications, legacy modernisation and real-time digital twins.
What we do
XSIS Software Engineering is an accountable systems builder for organisations where downtime, latency or a fragile architecture is not an option. We engineer custom multi-tenant SaaS platforms, high-throughput microservices, citizen e-government portals and native and cross-platform mobile apps, backed by tokenised design systems and WCAG and national accessibility compliance.
For institutions carrying technical debt, our AI-accelerated modernisation teams refactor legacy monoliths and retire ageing COBOL, DB2 and mainframe environments with zero-disruption strangler-fig patterns. Beyond 2D interfaces, our spatial engineering practice builds real-time 3D industrial and smart-city digital twins.
Who it is for
Chief technology officer
Platforms that stay up under load and can be changed safely, by a team accountable in production.
VP of software engineering
Senior engineers who work in your repositories, with tests on every change and automated releases.
Head of product
Products designed from research and released in small, regular increments.
Smart-city director
Digital twins and citizen e-services connected to the real systems behind them.
Services in this division
Application, platform and composable product engineering
Enterprise software and multi-tenant SaaS, composable architecture, back ends and APIs, customer portals and citizen e-services, and front-end design systems.
Mobile, spatial computing and digital twins
Native iOS and Android apps, cross-platform apps in React Native and Flutter, industrial and urban digital twins, and interactive simulations.
UX and autonomous quality engineering
UX research, wireframes, design systems and WCAG accessibility, self-healing QA and regression testing, and performance, load and chaos testing.
AI-accelerated legacy modernisation
Phased re-engineering with AI-assisted refactoring and strangler-fig migration, database migration and mainframe decommissioning.

Proof in production
Our engineers built the high-concurrency commerce engine and inventory reservation service behind a GCC retail group's stores and storefronts. Our leadership has built web and mobile platforms for global consumer brands.

How to start
A clear specification goes straight to a proposal. A new product idea starts in the Blueprint Studio, and a failing or undocumented system starts with the Brownfield Diagnostic Bridge.
What happens next
Pre-consulting session
A free 30-minute online pre-consulting session: we go through your goals, systems and constraints.
Readiness review
In a free 48-hour readiness review, a Principal Architect checks your project against the 6-point Definition of Ready and recommends the track that fits.
Choosing the track
Scope-ready projects receive a binding proposal within 3–5 business days. Concept-stage projects start in the Blueprint Studio. A live system that is failing, undocumented or needs integration starts with a diagnostic of 1–2 weeks. The Blueprint Studio and the diagnostic each have a fixed fee, quoted in the proposal.
Delivery in five stages
Mobilisation, sprints with live demonstrations, integration and hardening, acceptance and go-live, then managed services. After launch comes a warranty period, then optional support and maintenance.
AI-native product teams
Managed, cross-functional pods of senior engineers, equipped with agentic coding and QA harnesses.
Embedded specialists and strategic augmentation
Nearshore and on-site principal engineers and specialists, and embedded solution, transformation, PQC and integration architects.
Fixed-outcome projects and round-the-clock managed services
Fixed-scope, milestone-driven delivery with named delivery leads, and round-the-clock application managed services under SLA governance.
Questions and answers
Is my project Software Engineering or Enterprises & Integrations?
Software Engineering builds and modernises the applications themselves: platforms, portals, apps and digital twins. Enterprises & Integrations connects them to ERPs, banks, tax authorities and payment networks. Most projects need both, and one team covers them under one contract.
Do you deliver whole projects or provide engineers?
Both. We deliver fixed-outcome projects with a named delivery lead, run dedicated product teams, or embed specialists in your own team. The delivery models page compares them.
Can you work with our existing engineering team?
Yes. We agree code review, branching, the definition of done and who approves releases, then work in your repositories and tools. Your engineers can pair with ours and take over parts of the system when they are ready.
Do you build for regulated and public-sector clients?
Yes. Banks, ministries and critical services are the clients this division is built for. Accessibility to WCAG and national rules, Arabic and right-to-left layouts, audit trails and data residency are designed in from the first release.
Ready to build? Ask for a proposal.
Send your requirements or RFP. Our architects validate them and return a binding, fixed-scope proposal.

Readiness review
In a free 48-hour readiness review, a Principal Architect checks your project against the 6-point Definition of Ready and recommends the track that fits.
Binding proposal
After architecture validation at no cost, you receive a binding, fixed-scope proposal within 3–5 business days: milestones, architecture, team structure and SLAs. We sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with you on request, before you share your requirements.
Mobilisation
Once you sign, our engineering pods begin Sprint 0 within 5–10 business days of contract signature.
