OT and IoT Security

Industrial systems defended without putting production or safety at risk.

Why It Matters

Plants, stations and machines were built to run, not to defend. Many control systems are flat, unpatched and reachable from the business network.

An attacker who reaches them can stop production or damage equipment, so the work must respect safety rules and planned outages.

What We Do

  • We protect the systems that run plants, stations and machines, within your safety rules.

  • Devices are inventoried, hardened and watched from installation to retirement.

  • We watch the operational network without touching control logic.

What Changes for You

  1. An inventory of controllers, sensors and connected devices, with an owner and a location.

  2. Changes happen in planned windows, with plant safety and uptime first.

  3. Zones and monitored paths stop an IT intrusion from reaching control systems.

How the Work Runs

We start with passive discovery. You name the site contacts, the safety rules and the windows when a change is allowed.

  1. Walk the Site and Read the Network

We discover devices and traffic without active scanning. Your engineers confirm what each asset does and which line it serves. The output is an asset register with the network path for each device.

  2. Group Assets by Risk

We rank each asset by safety impact, production criticality, vendor support and network exposure. You decide what cannot be touched. The output is a ranked list that your plant team accepts.

  3. Draw the Zones

We design zones, allowed paths, remote access and monitoring points. Your change board approves the plan before any device is moved. The output is a zone drawing and a change plan for each step.

  4. Change in Planned Windows

We add monitoring first, then segmentation and controlled remote access, one line at a time. Every step has a rollback and a named owner. The line runs normally after each step, or we roll back.

  5. Watch and Rehearse

We tune alerts for operational behaviour and run an incident exercise with your plant team. Your engineers keep control of setpoints and safety decisions. The exercise ends with a written timeline and the gaps to close.

Team and Engagement Options

Who works on site under your safety rules, and what your plant team keeps.

  • An OT security engineer, a network engineer and a lead who knows plant change control work on site.

  • We work beside your control engineers and follow your permit and safety rules.

  • You receive the asset register, zone drawings and response playbooks, each with a named owner.

Platforms and Technologies

We work with the systems your plant already runs. OpenTelemetry collects device data, Prometheus stores it and Grafana shows it. Kubernetes runs the monitoring services, on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or on an NVIDIA GPU server for local analysis. Monitoring does not touch control logic, and analysis stays close to the equipment when the network is slow.

Naming a product does not mean a partnership with its vendor.

Questions

What operations and security leaders ask before work starts on a live site.

What drives the cost?

The number of sites and devices, their age and vendor support, how much segmentation is needed and the number of planned windows. A single line is a smaller start than a full site.

How do we start?

With one site or one line, and passive monitoring first. It shows what is there before any change to the network.

Will this interrupt production?

We plan around your windows and start with passive monitoring. Active scanning and segmentation happen only with your approval and a tested rollback.

What does OT and IoT security work not cover?

We do not change control logic, setpoints or safety systems, and we do not replace your control-system vendor. We add visibility, zones and monitoring around what they run.

What about devices we cannot patch?

Many cannot be patched. We protect them with zones, restricted paths and monitoring, and plan replacement only where the risk cannot be reduced.
