How we work

Embedded specialists and strategic augmentation

Principal engineers, architects and specialists who join your team in the roles it lacks.

The team has the mandate but not every role

A programme can have the mandate and the budget and still lack one role: an architect for a decision, an engineer for a platform, or a specialist for a single hard problem.

Hiring for that role takes months. An embedded specialist fills it inside your team, for the part of the work that needs it.

Who you can embed

Specialists join your existing team, nearshore or on site, in named roles. Your team keeps its delivery model.

  1. Principal engineers and system specialists

Nearshore and on-site senior engineers for the core of the build.

  2. Embedded architects

Solution, digital transformation, PQC and integration architects.

  3. Forward-deployed engineers

AI, data and ERP engineers who work inside your environment.

  4. Quality and experience specialists

Dedicated QA, DevSecOps and UX/UI specialists.

How a specialist joins

The start follows the same path as every engagement, from a conversation to a named role.

  1. A conversation

The free 30-minute online pre-consulting session, where you describe the role and the work it has to do.

  2. A readiness review

A Principal Architect confirms the scope, the boundaries and the constraints in a free 48-hour readiness review.

  3. A proposal

You receive a binding proposal with the role, the milestones and the schedule within 3–5 business days.

  4. Mobilisation

The specialist joins within 5–10 business days of contract signature.

Questions and answers

Which roles can we embed?

Principal software engineers and system specialists; solution, digital transformation, PQC and integration architects; forward-deployed AI, data and ERP engineers; and dedicated QA, DevSecOps and UX/UI specialists.

How is this different from a product pod?

A pod is a managed, cross-functional team. Embedded specialists join your existing team in named roles, from one specialist to a small group.

Do specialists work on site?

Yes. They work nearshore or on site, including inside your premises when the environment requires it.

How does an assignment start?

With the free 30-minute online pre-consulting session, then the free 48-hour readiness review. The proposal names the role, the scope and the schedule before the specialist joins.

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Tell us what you need to build, connect or secure. An architect goes through it with you, then recommends where to start.

What happens next

  1. Agreeing a time

Our team emails you to agree a time for the session.

  2. Pre-consulting session

A free 30-minute online pre-consulting session: we go through your goals, systems and constraints.

  3. Readiness review

In a free 48-hour readiness review, a Principal Architect checks your project against the 6-point Definition of Ready and recommends the track that fits.

  4. Choosing the track

Scope-ready projects receive a binding proposal within 3–5 business days. Concept-stage projects start in the Blueprint Studio. A live system that is failing, undocumented or needs integration starts with a diagnostic of 1–2 weeks. The Blueprint Studio and the diagnostic each have a fixed fee, quoted in the proposal.
