Enterprise architecture and SovereignTech

An architecture that keeps systems available, connected and under your control

Architecture decisions that are hard to undo

Systems added one project at a time leave an estate nobody can see whole. Integrations break in surprising places, single points of failure hide in critical paths, and every change costs more than the last.

Many estates also depend on one hyperscaler or vendor, with data stored where the law may not allow it. Leaving later is expensive unless the architecture plans for it now.

What you get

  1. A clear view of today

A clear picture of your current architecture, its risks and its single points of failure.

  2. A target to build to

A target architecture and integration blueprint your teams and vendors can build to.

  3. Sovereignty and exit options

A plan to keep data where the law requires and to leave any vendor without starting again.

  4. Decisions that last

Architecture decisions recorded with their reasons, so they survive changes of people and vendors.

What we deliver

  • TOGAF architecture reviews and high-availability audits

Enterprise architecture reviews aligned with TOGAF, and audits of the systems that must stay available, with each finding ranked by risk.

  • Solution, event-driven and multi-agent blueprints

Solution and integration architecture for event-driven systems and multi-agent AI, with the contracts between systems defined before they are built.

  • SovereignTech, vendor exit and data residency

SovereignTech architecture, exit strategies from vendor lock-in, and data residency advice that keeps data where your regulators expect it.

How it works

SovereignTech work covers hyperscaler exit strategies and cross-border data residency for MENA, Europe and Asia, so systems can move between clouds without a rebuild.

  1. Map the estate

We map applications, data, integrations and infrastructure, and the business capabilities each one supports.

  2. Assess the risks

We test availability, security, scalability and residency against your requirements and rank the gaps.

  3. Design the target

We design the target architecture and integration blueprint, comparing options on cost, risk and portability.

  4. Plan the transition

We sequence the change into phases that each deliver value, with exit points from any vendor kept open.

  5. Govern the build

Our architects review designs during delivery, so the architecture is built as decided, not only drawn.

Technologies and standards

Reviews follow TOGAF. Blueprints cover event-driven integration, multi-agent architecture and the API contracts between systems, including ERP, bank and AI interfaces.

How to start

Architecture reviews often start as a technical deep dive. For a new platform without a specification, the work runs as a Blueprint Studio engagement, ending in a TOGAF architecture and stack blueprint.

What happens next

  1. Readiness review

In a free 48-hour readiness review, a Principal Architect checks your project against the 6-point Definition of Ready and recommends the track that fits.

  2. Blueprint Studio

Structured workshops turn your goal into a ready-to-build blueprint. Tier 1 takes 1–2 weeks, Tier 2 3–4 weeks and Tier 3 4–6 weeks, each at a fixed fee quoted in the proposal.

  3. Ready-to-Build Blueprint Pack

You receive a Ready-to-Build Blueprint Pack of 6 deliverables: the product and functional specification, the architecture and technology stack blueprint, the integration and data contract specification, an interactive UI prototype, the security and regulatory matrix, and a binding fixed-price build proposal. You own 100% of the blueprint once the fee is paid, written in vendor-agnostic standards you can use with XSIS or with another provider.

  4. Fee credited to the build

100% of the Blueprint fee is credited toward the build when you choose XSIS to build it. The credit is valid for 60 calendar days after the blueprint is delivered, for a build contract of at least 8× the Blueprint fee.

  • Embedded specialists and strategic augmentation

Nearshore and on-site principal engineers and specialists, and embedded solution, transformation, PQC and integration architects.

Questions and answers

What is TOGAF, and do we need it?

TOGAF is a widely used framework for enterprise architecture. We use its methods to describe your business, data, applications and technology consistently. You do not need to adopt TOGAF yourself to benefit from the review.

What does a high-availability audit look at?

The systems that must not stop: their redundancy, failover, backups, dependencies and monitoring. We look for single points of failure, test assumptions where we can and rank each finding by risk.

We depend on one cloud provider. Can you help us leave?

Yes. We design a vendor exit strategy: which workloads move, in what order, onto which platforms and at what risk. Portable infrastructure and open standards keep the next move cheaper than this one.

How do you handle data residency rules?

We map where each kind of data is stored, processed and copied, and compare that with the rules that apply in each country. The architecture then keeps regulated data in the right jurisdiction.

Why does architecture matter for AI agents?

Agents call your systems, so they need defined tools, permissions and audit trails. A multi-agent blueprint sets how agents reach data and each other, before they are given access to production systems.

What do we receive at the end of a review?

A written assessment of your current architecture, a target architecture, an integration blueprint, a phased roadmap and the decision records behind them. You own all of it once each milestone is paid.

Can you help deliver the architecture afterwards?

Yes. Our engineering, integration, cloud and security divisions can build it, and our architects stay involved to govern the build. You can also hand the blueprint to another team, because it uses vendor-neutral standards.

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Tell us what you need to build, connect or secure. An architect goes through it with you, then recommends where to start.

What happens next

  1. Agreeing a time

Our team emails you to agree a time for the session.

  2. Pre-consulting session

A free 30-minute online pre-consulting session: we go through your goals, systems and constraints.

  3. Readiness review

In a free 48-hour readiness review, a Principal Architect checks your project against the 6-point Definition of Ready and recommends the track that fits.

  4. Choosing the track

Scope-ready projects receive a binding proposal within 3–5 business days. Concept-stage projects start in the Blueprint Studio. A live system that is failing, undocumented or needs integration starts with a diagnostic of 1–2 weeks. The Blueprint Studio and the diagnostic each have a fixed fee, quoted in the proposal.
