Dedicated teams
A complete team that works only on your product
A cross-functional team assembled for your roadmap, run day to day by XSIS and directed by you.
Overview
A dedicated team is a group of engineers, designers and testers that works only on your product. You set the priorities and own the roadmap. We assemble the team, run it day to day and stay accountable for how it delivers.
The team is shaped around the work, not around a fixed template. A product with a heavy integration load needs integration engineers and strong testing. A new customer app needs design and mobile skills first. As the roadmap changes, the mix of roles changes with it, and you agree every change before it happens.
XSIS engineers lead each team. Where the work needs more capacity or a specialist skill, we add engineers from vetted outsourced teams, under the same contract, standards, security rules and code reviews. You always know who is on the team and what each person does.
What we deliver
Team proposal
The roles the work needs, the seniority of each, how the team is led, and how it would grow or shrink with the roadmap.
Engineer profiles
A profile for each proposed person, with skills and relevant experience, for you to review before anyone joins.
Interviews with your team
You interview every engineer before they join; no blind placements. Nobody joins the team without your agreement.
Onboarding plan
How the team learns your product, your systems and your ways of working, with named contacts on both sides.
Access and security set-up
Named, least-privilege access to your repositories, environments and tools, recorded and revoked when someone leaves.
Working agreement
Ceremonies, communication channels, definition of done, review rules and escalation paths, written down and agreed.
Sprint and progress reports
What was planned, what was delivered, what is at risk and what needs your decision, at a rhythm you choose.
Shared knowledge base
Architecture notes, decisions, runbooks and onboarding guides kept in your tools, so knowledge stays with the product.
Handover plan
How work moves to your own staff or to another team when you choose, with the documentation and overlap that needs.
How we work
- 01
Understand the work
We learn your product, your roadmap, your systems and the skills your own staff already have.
- 02
Propose the team
We send a written proposal: roles, seniority, leadership, ways of working and how cost is set.
- 03
Select the people
You review profiles and interview the people we propose, and you approve each one.
- 04
Onboard
We set up access, agree the working rules and run the onboarding plan with your product owner.
- 05
Deliver in short cycles
The team plans, builds, tests and demonstrates working software in regular cycles, and reports progress and risks.
- 06
Review and adjust
We review delivery, quality and the team’s shape with you, and change the mix of roles when the roadmap needs it.

Ways to work with us
Dedicated team
A complete team that works only on your product, run day to day by XSIS and directed by you.
How it works
We assemble a team for your roadmap: engineers, designers and testers, with a team lead.
Your product owner sets the priorities and accepts the work. Our team lead runs the team day to day.
The team stays with your product, so knowledge builds up, and its shape changes with the roadmap.
When to choose it
You have a product or platform with a long roadmap.
Priorities will change as you learn, so a fixed scope would not hold.
You want a stable team without hiring and managing every person yourself.
How it is governed
Planning and review with your product owner at the start and end of every cycle.
Progress, risks and decisions reported at a rhythm you choose.
Regular reviews of delivery, quality and the shape of the team.
Questions and answers
How do you choose the engineers for a dedicated team?
We start from the skills the work needs, not from who is free. Candidates go through technical interviews and practical exercises run by our senior engineers, and we check their experience against the kind of work you do. Then we send you their profiles, and you interview them yourself. Nobody joins your team without your approval.
Link to this questionWho manages a dedicated team?
You decide what the team works on: your product owner sets the priorities and accepts the work. We run the team day to day through a team lead who plans the work, removes blockers, looks after quality and reports to you. Line management, performance and replacement of people stay with XSIS.
Link to this questionWhat if an engineer is not the right fit?
You interview every engineer before they join; no blind placements. If someone is not the right fit, we replace them at no cost. Tell your team lead or your account contact as soon as you see it. We also look at the role and the briefing, which are sometimes the real cause, and we plan an overlap so that knowledge is handed over and not lost.
Link to this questionCan the team grow or shrink over time?
Yes. The team follows your roadmap. You can add roles when a new stream of work starts and release them when it ends. We agree each change with you in advance, with enough notice to bring people in properly or hand their work over cleanly. The notice terms are set out in the contract.
Link to this questionWho owns the code and the work the team produces?
Intellectual property in the work we build for you is yours from the first commit — no assignment step at the end. The custom code, designs and documents the team produces live in your own repositories and tools. Any XSIS tools that existed before stay ours and are licensed to you. Everyone on the team, including engineers from outsourced teams, is bound by the same confidentiality terms.
Link to this questionHow do you handle time zones and working hours?
We agree working hours with you before the team starts, including the hours when the team and your staff overlap for meetings, reviews and questions. Where your users or systems need cover outside those hours, we plan it into the team’s shape rather than leave it to chance.
Link to this questionHow is the cost of a dedicated team set?
A dedicated team is usually charged as a monthly cost for the agreed roles, so you can plan your budget. The cost depends on the number of people, their seniority and skills, and any cover outside normal hours. If you prefer to pay for actual time, we can work on time and materials. You see the price and the timeline before we start.

Describe the systems, the timeline and the constraints. The right engineers take it from there.
